Just a reminder that if your family intends to participate in the fun run on June 10 and would like an event t-shirt registration must be complete by June 2. There is a $5 cash charge per shirt. To pre-register please email info@highlandforestonline.com and include the quantity and size for each shirt.
Your child does not have to purchase the shirt to participate however we do encourage those that do not purchase a shirt to wear white or a light color so the chalk shows up better.
We will be hosting our first ever (and hopefully first annual) HFLA Kids Color Fun Run & Family Picnic Day on Saturday, June 10 at 11:00am.
Families are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy lunch in the park following the run. We will have some field games set up such as corn hole and giant Connect4.
We will meet in the grassy area between the clubhouse and the lake beginning at 10:15 the morning of the event. Everyone will line up and the run will start promptly at 11:00am. The kids will run/walk the 0.6 mile path around the lake and get blasted by colored chalk along the way. Any children going to the pool after the event will have to rinse off before entering the pool area.
