The neighborhood cleanup day on Saturday, 5/20/23 was a successful day! Fortunately the rain started later than predicted so we were able to accomplish our goals. A total of 20 people helped out, We were able to repair erosion on the back side of the spillway with rocks, put down mulch in the playground areas, and unclog one of the drainage pipes in the lake at the dam. The children’s playground equipment and house was pressure washed the previous weekend by Dan & Bridgette Marcadis.
Volunteers included : Dan Marcadis, Andrew Nix, Chip Whitfield, Travis Cross, Chris Goulart, David Greene, Charlie Thompson, Tom Iorizzo, Howard and Joellen Kash, Patrick and Austin Pahr, Brian Howard, James Gordy, Rex Mayfield, Dan and Emma Gilligan, Logan Gazaway, Kirk Malerbi, and Shan Plsek. Special thanks to Barry Edwards who couldn’t be there but let Chris Goulart use his tractor to help move mulch and rocks, and bush hog weeds.
